Stockyard Ranch Supply offers "MCQ Wood Fencing". Their treated wood posts are pressure treated with MCA (Micro Copper Azole) or ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) wood preservative for ground contact. Their models of round pressure treated posts vary from length and width (from 6 1/2' x 3" which costs $3.55 each, until 12' x 6" models which costs $27.4 each post). They also offer square posts costing a little bit more than the round ones.

According to Strongtie, sapwood is the common type of wood use for pressure treating, because "wood preservatives penetrate sapwood easier than heartwood. As a result, wood species such as Southern Pine, which have a high percentage of sapwood, are predominately used in pressure treating".
